ºÚÁÏÃÅ’ Vered Netzer Is a Highly Commended Winner of the 2020 Women in Technology Award

ºÚÁÏÃÅ, a global software consultancy, has today announced that Brisbane-based Principal, Vered Netzer, has been recognised as the highly commended winner of the in the ‘Leadership Professional - Technology’ category.

The WiT Awards aim to give recognition to all female industry leaders irrespective of age or seniority and is hosted by WiT, the peak industry body for women in technology and life sciences within Queensland.

With over 240 nominations across 14 categories, Vered was in good company alongside nominees including Associate Professor Cori Stewart, chief executive officer of the not-for-profit, ARM Hub; Leanne Kemp, an engineer, technologist and pioneer in emerging tech, and Lauren Hall, chief executive officer of iVvy, a multi-award winning SaaS Technology software company.

Joining ºÚÁÏÃÅ 4.5 years ago, Vered has worked in the technology sector for more than 20 years. During that time she has worked as an IT strategist designing, developing and implementing cutting edge technology solutions. Vered’s passion is inspiring growth and learning in others while helping enterprises transform legacy systems into modern digital platforms. Her unique leadership style emerged from seven years as a Major in the army, scaling up over seven start ups, and five years as a principal consultant leading digital transformations in large enterprises across Australia.

At ºÚÁÏÃÅ, Vered is known as a powerhouse leader that ‘gets things done’ while growing and taking care of others. Vered is a true feminist, and her legacy is full of empowering initiatives and mentorship of young girls and women.
