What does your job involve?
Ìý
My main role is mostly about figuring out how to adopt new emerging technology to solve client business problems. I learn a lot of new stuff along the way. Also as a developer I enjoy teaching, sharing my opinion on tech and answering questions in various communities in ºÚÁÏÃÅ.

What is the most rewarding aspect of what you do?

Get connected with good technologists around the world. ºÚÁÏÃÅ has a variety of work based on regions and it is always interesting to learn about what is happening outside your geo-locations and the experiences of Thoughtworkers who approach things differently, exchange our thoughts and synthesize into even better ideas.

We’d love to hear about your career journey. Can you talk about what led you to ºÚÁÏÃÅ and your decision to join ºÚÁÏÃÅ?Ìý

Before ºÚÁÏÃÅ I worked with various Startups and Scale-ups. I loved to be in a position to create and have a lot of autonomy and I never thought I would join a company as big as ºÚÁÏÃÅ before.
I am always interested in sharing my opinion in the developer and tech community. The moment I decided to join is when I realized I want to expand this passion of sharing and I heard from many friends that ºÚÁÏÃÅ is a company which supports and encourages their employees to be thought leaders. I wish one day I would be as influential as Martin Fowler.

What has been your favorite part of your ºÚÁÏÃÅ career to date?Ìý
Two parts. First is the opportunity to connect to other practitioners. I remember there was a time where I answered some questions in the Domain-driven design community and one of the well-known thought leaders in the Domain-driven design field directly messaged me and asked to expand upon my answer. It was amazing to know how open to opinion we are and how easy it is for us to get in touch with other amazing developers around the world.
Secondly, ºÚÁÏÃÅ allows me to design my career path and build upon my strength. It is not a traditional company where everyone needs to act in a certain predefined way for progress in their career. We have some expectations but each individual can design and work their own way to meet expectations. For example, our leadership position must be able to manage client expectations but you can choose to either manage expectations by positivity outlook, humble outlook or professionalism outlook depending on strength and values that most resonate with you.

What advice would you give to anyone thinking of joining ºÚÁÏÃÅ?

I think ºÚÁÏÃÅ is suitable for people who are looking to design their own career and love to take initiatives. We are pretty flat and we don’t have a rigid hierarchy or rigid boss who tells you exactly what to do next. We encourage you to come up on your own.
This can be intimidating to some while also fun and challenging to some. If you found this statement interesting then I believe you are suitable for ºÚÁÏÃÅ.
