However, the CocoaPods team that the project is in maintenance mode after more than a decade of being a key tool for iOS and macOS developers. While the tool and its resources will remain available, active development will cease. Developers are encouraged to transition to Swift Package Manager, which offers native integration with Xcode and better long-term support from Apple.
